Digital Marketing Specialist
We are looking for someone who can work in our Perth headquarters and be responsible for coordinating all the internet-based marketing materials that are produced at Moodle HQ, including social media, web, email and whatever else comes along next year.
A strong interest in digital marketing, combined with a marketing or communications degree (or equivalent), and a minimum 2 years’ experience in a social media / digital marketing position is necessary to fulfil the requirements of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Moodle with an active, high-quality presence on the internet
- Research, develop and issue well written tweets, blogs and posts
- Research, write and distribute press releases
- Manage the production of marketing videos
- Respond in a timely manner to Moodle-related feedback on the Internet
- Contribute to strategic marketing and communications planning
- Monitor media for ideas and report on markets relevant to Moodle
- Develop strong in-office relationships
- Ensure press and contact databases are created and maintained
- Produce and distribute marketing materials to Moodle Partners
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Communications / PR / Marketing Degree or equivalent training
- At least 2 years experience in a commercial marketing position
- Experience in using a wide variety of social media platforms in a commercial environment, including Twitter, Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn, Blogs, YouTube, Vimeo, Google tools
- Persuasive and engaging writing skills
- Excellent overall communication skills
- High level of creativity
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to maintain and improve brand integrity and reputation
- Able to work autonomously with a mature attitude
- Able to meet tight deadlines
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- 2-5 years’ experience in social media marketing
- Exposure to the Moodle learning platform
- Experience with Salesforce
