Let’s look at week 1 of Learn Moodle 3.4 Basic MOOC

January 17, 2018 By Husveen Grewal

Moodlers, as you might (or might not know), our Learn Moodle 3.4 Basic MOOC started on Monday 8 January 2018!

Many Moodlers, new and “old” joined our community educator, Mary Cooch, from around the world to learn all the basics of Moodle.

Sunday 14 January marked the first week of our free twice-a year MOOC and with thousands of people registering for this, we are very happy that our Moodlers are enjoying the MOOC so far, as can be seen from our Twitter moments for week 1.

Week 1 also saw our Learn Moodle participants busily setting up their courses and exploring different types of layout, conducting a weekly live session using BigBlueButton and also providing feedback.

Our learners also took time to reflect – an important part of learning as our Mary Cooch mentioned – through their own blog posts.

Let’s delve deeper into what happened in Week 1 of Learn Moodle 3.4 Basic MOOC by reading through Mary’s (and others) summary blog post.

PS: If you would like to still join fellow Moodlers for this MOOC, there’s still time, plus you can get a certificate of achievement too.
