One of our Certified Partners, Synergy Learning, with offices in the UK and Germany, will be at OEB – a global, cross-sector conference on technology supported learning and training this week (30 November – 2 December 2016) in Berlin.
We caught up with the Synergy Learning team before they headed off to Berlin for the Online Educa Berlin (OEB) conference to find out more about their Moodle services, where you will find them at OEB and what exciting things they have in plan at the conference.
Moodle HQ: Please introduce Synergy Learning – who you are, where are you based, a little bit of history?
Synergy Learning: Originally established in 1997, Synergy Learning developed highly interactive eLearning content for a large number of educational organisations. During that time we started using Moodle to deliver our courses and were immediately hooked!
Following a number of successful projects and the development of specialist knowledge and resources, we became a Certified Moodle Partner in 2005.
Since then, Synergy Learning has grown into a global learning technology provider, using open-source technologies to create learning solutions that evolve organically with the needs of our customers.
We provide learning and development services for educational, not for profit, government and corporate organisations.
Our customers include the British Council, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Save the Children Foundation, Coventry University, Goethe Institute, NHS trusts, Halfords and ACCA.
To date, we have implemented over 1,000 e-learning projects across 40 different countries.
Our head office is based in Holywood, Northern Ireland and we have an office in Heidelberg, Germany. With a team of 40 (and growing), currently located across the UK and Europe, we have developed values that align perfectly with our vision to excite, engage and empower our customers and their learners alike.
Moodle HQ: What Moodle related services you provide?
Synergy Learning: Having worked with a wide range of organisations over the past 20 years, providing them with a variety of innovative e-learning services and solutions, Synergy Learning has a specialist understanding and experience of using Moodle as a platform for delivering learning.
We provide a 360 degree service from content creation to platform hosting, bespoke development, training, theme design, consultancy and technical support. We aim to be the partner of choice for our customers and through the partnership, make a positive difference to learners by providing tools that will help them learn effectively.
Moodle HQ: What can Moodlers expect from the Synergy Learning stand at OEB from 30 November – 2 December?
Synergy Learning: For a second consecutive year, we are delighted to be exhibiting our services at one of Europe’s most global, cross-sectional events – OEB in Berlin.
We are extremely excited to be part of this consolidated drive to ‘shape the future of learning’.
The theme for this year’s OEB conference is ‘owning learning’ and over the course of the three-day event, Synergy Learning will be showcasing the latest features of our LMS platforms, including competency frameworks for learner assessments and frameworks for businesses to meet compliance requirements.
We will also be showcasing Big Blue Button and Elucidat authoring tools.
Our team on the stand can provide advice and knowledge on how to get maximum value and return on investment from your e-learning strategy, through our holistic service offerings, whilst giving users the opportunity to ‘own’ their learning and customise it to suit their needs.
