When you sign up for MoodleCloud, you need to choose a site name or subdomain. This will be part of your site URL.
- You select your site name or subdomain when you sign up for MoodleCloud (i.e. yourchoice.moodlecloud.com) and will find your URL in the welcome email you receive when you first set it up.
- The subdomain can only have 3-53 characters;
- Letters, numbers and hyphens only;
- No uppercase;
- Cannot start or end with a hyphen;
- The domain will always be "moodlecloud.com".
- MoodleCloud does not support other types of domains. If you want a customized URL (e.g. sitename.com) you will need to contact one of our Moodle Certified Partners, who offer paid services and alternative hosting options.
*If you wish to change your existing site name, you can do so from your MoodleCloud Portal. For more information, please refer to How can I change my MoodleCloud site's name or subdomain? *You can Redirect a domain name to your MoodleCloud site.
