The vision of Martin Dougiamas, Moodle’s Founder and CEO, was to support the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights that everyone has the right to education by giving educators a way to create quality education experiences over the internet. Since its first release in 2002, Moodle has constantly evolved through a commitment to pedagogy, open source philosophy, and a collaborative global community of like-minded educators and technologists.
Acquisition of eAbyas Info Solutions
As a commitment to Moodle’s mission to empower educators to improve the world and strengthen its direct relationship with customers, Moodle acquired eAbyas Info Solutions (eAbyas) on 1 December 2022. With the acquisition of eAbyas, Indian customers can directly access a range of services and products from Moodle itself. Before it became a part of Moodle, eAbyas was a Moodle Certified Partner in India providing eLearning solutions with exceptional customer service and technical capability.
Moodle’s Indian services company harnesses eAbyas’ strengths in PHP development and delivers customisations, implementation, integrations, hosting, course design, training and support, whether with Moodle LMS, Moodle Workplace or any other Moodle product.
Meet our leaders
Sushil was founder and CEO of eAbyas Info Solutions before Moodle acquired the company in December 2022. He specializes in lead management, custom development projects, and performance management
Sushil started his career with Survey Communications, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, before starting his entrepreneurial journey in the States and later in India. Sushil continued his stint at Tulane University, the USA. He holds a Masters in Information Technology from Louisiana State University (LSU) and an MBA from Tulane University, Louisiana.
In his free time, Sushil explores his interest in film-making. He produced and directed a movie named “Pressure Cooker” in his native language, Telugu.
As a seasoned technologist for about 22 years of working experience with leading MNCs in IT, Shyam has his hands-on almost all phases of the SDLC such as lead management, custom development projects, delivery, support and project management. He holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
Shyam has interest in writing dialogues for movies. He worked as a dialogue writer along with other writers for the film called “Pressure Cooker.” In his free time, Shyam likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters.
