We ticked all the boxes with Learn Moodle 3.4 Basic MOOC

February 5, 2018 By Husveen Grewal

Moodlers around the world received their certificates last week and beginning of this week for completing or participating in our Learn Moodle 3.4 Basic MOOC!

Were you one of the Moodlers who joined us in the first of our twice a year free MOOC?

It sure was a busy final week as participants busily completed work (a total of 35 activities and a peer assessment work) so that they can tick their activity completion boxes and get their completion certificate.

This year we also introduced an achievement certificate for those who completed 34 activities but missed the workshop.

It’s been so wonderful to get good feedback about the MOOC and how much our Moodlers, experienced and new participants, enjoyed them by learning new things and collaborating with others.

So what’s next?

  • As usual, running the MOOC gave Moodlers the opportunity to also spot bugs with Moodle features and plugins which our facilitators have added into our tracker system!
  • In preparation for the next Learn Moodle Basic MOOC, we at Moodle HQ are going to do maintenance to the site and also look through your feedback to improve the next MOOC.
  • And then…get ready for the next Learn Moodle 3.5 Basic MOOC, which will be on 18 June until 15 July. Sign up will be announced through our Twitter channels so make sure you follow us at @learnmoodle or @moodle

Thanks to all Moodlers who participated.

We really love having you work with us for the last 4 weeks and hope that you can now go forth and continue with using, learning and discovering the powerful features of your Moodle sites!
