Moodle 3.6 App: the latest from Moodle in your mobile devices

January 15, 2019 By Júlia Verdaguer

Moodle 3.6 App is now available for download on Google Play and Apple’s App Store and the Desktop app will be in the Windows store soon.

The newest version of our Moodle App comes with the most popular features and improvements of Moodle 3.6 to boost the quality and reach of mobile learning for both learners and instructors.

Moodle 3.6 app upgrades include group messaging, Nextcloud integration, support for version 2 of the Open Badges specification and support for new languages: Khmer and Kannada. The Dashboard and Course overview are now more customisable and allow users to hide or star courses to make keeping track of deadlines and activities easier on mobile devices.

The Moodle 3.6 App also brings offline learning and training one step further: content embedded via iframes is now accessible offline, and learners can mark activities and resources as complete while they are not connected to the internet. Once their device has access to a network again, the information is updated onto the course, keeping track of the day and time of activity completion.
