Colombian based E-learning expert, Edu Labs, expands their Moodle support services into Mexico and Ecuador

April 26, 2018

With a commitment to reducing the digital gap through the use of Moodle’s open source learning software, Edu Labs will be offering powerful edtech solutions for educators in universities, nonprofit agencies and corporate workplaces throughout relevant Latin American and the Caribbean regions.

Having joined the Moodle Partnership network only two years ago in Colombia, Edu Labs’ expansion reflects their work in providing the best, affordable services to its customers and contribution to human development.

This is especially demonstrated through their status as the chosen Moodle services provider for an increasing number of universities (including Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Universidad de La Sabana, Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz, Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, Universidad de Guanajuato, American University of Puerto Rico), corporations (Gilat S.A.E.S.P, Productos Roche and Colsubsidio), nonprofit agencies (United Nations, ALATA) and state agencies (Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses) in the past eight years, since they first began working with Moodle.

Edu Labs’ extensive support services, including Moodle cloud hosting with 24/7 support and daily backups up to 365 days, training for educators and administrators, plugins and tools development, content design and consultancy, certainly add to their status as the chosen Moodle provider for so many organisations in Colombia.

With this reputation preceding them, Edu Labs is looking forward to successfully entering into the Latin American and the Caribbean markets through Ecuador and Mexico.

Juan Gabriel Sáenz, CEO of Edu Labs, said: “The partnership of Moodle and Edu Labs in Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia is a great opportunity for improvement and growth of the virtual education sector in the Latin American and the Caribbean region and to the Moodle community.”

“Universities, schools and companies that use or want to use Moodle can be confident that they will be the main beneficiaries of this strategic alliance, and they can be sure that Edu Labs will bring the E-learning service to a new and high level,” said Juan.

Gavin Henrick, Business Development Manager and Head of the Partners Team at Moodle HQ, congratulates Juan and his team at Edu Labs on the new and exciting expansion of their Moodle Partnership into Ecuador and Mexico.

“Congratulations Juan and the dedicated team at Edu Labs for extending their expert Moodle support services into the Ecuador and Mexico regions.”

“We are pleased to have Edu Labs offering high quality, diverse and comprehensive management of educational and workplace projects based on Moodle’s open source learning software into Latin American and the Caribbean markets.”
“Edu Labs’ commitment to customer service and human development through closing the digital gap and already successful record in providing the best edtech solutions across the corporate, education, nonprofit and public sectors will contribute greatly to Moodle’s mission to empower educators, of all kinds, to improve our world,” said Gavin.
