Experience a faster and more intuitive navigation of activities in Moodle 3.4

November 14, 2017

Continuing with the focus on usability and enhanced user experience in Moodle 3.4, we are pleased to introduce the improved activity navigation in our new release.

New links below course items and the “jump to” menu in Moodle 3.4 means it is now easier than ever to navigate through your course.

As displayed in the image below, when accessing their Moodle course students will see a brand new activity navigation layout.

A link on the right will take a student back to their previous activities, a link to the left will go to the next course activity and a central “jump to” menu allows students to be linked to any course activity they want, such as the class wiki.

This Moodle 3.4 improvement means students and educators can focus on accessing their courses, files and activities faster and spend less time on navigating their courses.
