Moodle goes to ALTC 2018 – The leading Learning Tech conference in the UK

September 6, 2018 By Júlia Verdaguer

From September 11 to 13, Moodle HQ will be at the annual Association for Learning Technology Conference (ALTC) in Manchester

With the aim to enhance our open-source LMS to help improve the quality of education globally, we at Moodle HQ attend leading Edtech Conferences worldwide to liaise with educators, institutions and edtech experts.

After presenting at UNESCO Mobile Learning Week and attending EduTECH Australia 2018, Moodle HQ is headed to the UK! The Association for Learning Technology Conference annually gathers education stakeholders to solve problems, learn and reflect on relevant topics. Two of these topics for this year’s ALTC are Collaboration for Learning Technology and Openness and Learning Technology, which are in line with Moodle’s commitment to Open Technologies and collaborative learning.

Moodle HQ will be at ALTC to meet members from the Education community face-to-face and share ideas about how our open software and learning technology solutions like our Moodle App can help educators and organisations achieve their goals.

MoodleNet’s Lead Doug Belshaw will facilitate a session about the MoodleNet project: a resource-centric social network where educators are encouraged to make, adapt, and share resources with one another. In the exhibition area, our Services Team Gavin Henrick and Garnet Berry will be offering demonstrations of Moodle’s open source solutions to empower educators.
