Announcing Moodle Certified Service Provider in Latvia – Vextur expands further into Baltic States

September 16, 2021 By Moodle

Welcome to Vextur Latvia, Moodle’s most recent addition to the Certified Service Provider network!  Originally a Certified Moodle Reseller, Vextur became a Moodle Partner in February 2021 servicing the Lithuanian market.  Due to rapid increase in demand for their services across the Baltic region, Vextur has now expanded their footprint into Latvia and will focus on providing Moodle based services and solutions in the K-12, higher education and workplace learning sector in the region.

Paulius Nomgaudas, Vextur CEO and founder explains, “We receive many requests from organisations or institutions who are existing Moodle users. Many have launched their own platform, but have reached the point where they cannot maximise the use of Moodle functionality, because they don’t have the internal expertise – for example in custom development or integrations – and don’t know the best practice of LMS use.  We enjoy sharing our experience and working with these organisations to understand their unique requirements or challenges.  We have had extensive exposure to a range of Moodle projects, hostings, customisations and implementations that we can draw upon.”

Vextur provides all Moodle related services from requirements analysis, consultations and training to custom development , plugins creation and integrations. The team has  more than 7 years experience with Moodle and a range of implemented projects.

“Becoming a Moodle Certified Service provider in Latvia is significant to us and indicates our consistent development in the Baltic region. Certified Moodle status is very important among Moodle users, because it shows the quality of the services we provide and the opportunity to work with endorsed representatives of Moodle.  We are very happy to be a part of the big Moodlers family and appreciate the support of Moodle HQ, the Moodle partner network and our customers,” says Nomgaudas.

In the Latvian market, Vextur provides all Moodle related services and distinguishes them into two key areas.  The first is more communication and consultation based and relates to helping customers how best to set up Moodle their platform for online learning.  This includes consulting in course design and how to create and use resources or activities. The second area of support is more technically based and involves custom development and, in particular, providing integration services with internal customer information systems starting from user authentication to custom business data analysis.

A recent example is a project Vextur has completed with Latvian based Magnetic Professional SIA.  Vextur were initially engaged to provide consulting services in launching a new LMS platform for Magnetic Professional SIA’s online courses, but the scope of the project expanded to encompass a Moodle and eCommerce solution including a Moodle LMS and Intelliboard product package.  The project was implemented in two months and Magnetic Professional SIA are now successfully selling online courses with online payment.

Other Vextur Latvia clients include AS “Conexus Baltic Grid”, Tamro Eesti OU and SIA Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
