We share a sneak peek of what’s in store for MoodleMoot US 2017-New Orleans.

In a few days’ time Moodlers from around the world will be joining us at “The Big Easy” for MoodleMoot US 2017 – New Orleans hosted by BbWorld17 (25- 27 July)!

This MoodleMoot is the first of its kind, being hosted by BbWorld and supported by one of our Moodle Partners, Moodle Rooms.

So what’s in store for MoodleMoot US 2017 – New Orleans?

In addition to attending workshops and meeting other Moodlers, attendees will also have the opportunity to hear Moodle stories through pico and short presentations. The skills and practices shared in these stories can then be applied to teaching and learning with Moodle.

Steppin’ Your Scholarly Game Up: Engage Students with Gamification

In their presentation, Jella Corraro and Amanda Molina from the New Jersey Institute of Technology will share how Moodle tools and gamification can be used to engage learners.

Aaron Page and Marlene Zentz from the University of Montana will showcase how accessible course content can improve learning experiences for all users. They will also present their recent MOOC, which some of our Moodle HQ participated in.

Moodle’s Education team presents for the first time at #MootUS17 – New Orleans

We are also pleased to be bringing our Education team for the first time to the MoodleMoot stage in New Orleans from 25 – 27 July.

Headed up by our Education Manager, Tom Murdock, our team will deliver a number of presentations, all to help us answer:
