Moodle Welcomes New Partnership with Online Education Technologist in the Netherlands and Belgium

January 8, 2019

Moodle – the world’s open source learning platform welcomes Avetica – an education technology company now a Certified Moodle Partner in the Netherlands and Belgium

On a mission to make e-learning accessible, Avetica first started providing Moodle solutions in 2003, and now is one of the key Moodle solution providers in the region, hosting more than 400 Moodle sites across business, education, healthcare and government.

Built upon an expert understanding of Moodle, Avetica offers a range of services including gamification, systems integration, and Moodle plugin development. Delivering these has been a key attribute to building an impressive client base including Edutrainers, Jumbo Supermarkten, KLM, Noordhoff Training en Advies and PLUS Retail among others.

Arnout Vree, CEO of Avetica, commented “At the start of Avetica we made the choice to work with Moodle and we’re still pleased with that decision 15 years later. Becoming a Moodle Partner feels like the icing on the cake. It helps us to further develop our business in the Netherlands and Belgium where we will continue to share our knowledge and enthusiasm about Moodle.”

Martin Dougiamas, Founder and CEO of Moodle, said: “It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Avetica to the group as a new Moodle Certified Services Provider. I look forward to strengthening the partnership between Moodle and Avetica to create quality edtech experiences for Moodle users in this important region.”

Avetica’s new partnership with Moodle will contribute strongly to the provision of expert Moodle support services – including deployment, course and content development, gamification, training, and more – for Dutch and Belgian users.

The Moodle Partner network continues to grow with the addition of Avetica, now totalling 83 certified Moodle partnerships based in 50 countries.
