Hosting
We provide and support a range of scalable, reliable, and robust hosting solutions ranging from fully hosted, SaaS cloud-based services to self-hosted, on-premise solutions.
Our goal is to understand your needs, your level of expertise and your available resources in order to determine how best to support our US customers with one of our flexible, innovative hosting solutions for Moodle LMS or Moodle Workplace.

Our hosting solutions

Hosting
We provide a reliable and secure fully hosted SaaS cloud-based service with maintenance, backups, and upgrades included. You decide whether you need additional services and your level of support, from immediate response to 24 hour turnaround. Our hosting services are run on Moodle US’s innovative unHosting platform which uses Amazon APIs and a scripted install process to produce a Moodle instance complete with load balancers, web and database servers, all tuned to meet your site requirements.
The unHosting platform is designed to automate routine maintenance processes as well such as the installation of plugins and site upgrades. Our focus on repeatable builds and automation means your Moodle sites are stable and easy to manage, update, and maintain.

Hybrid Hosting
Unlike most traditional hosting services, we offer a hybrid hosting solution which is designed for organizations who want to use their own Amazon Web Services account or want more control or ownership due to security concerns, policies, or to ensure continuity of service. Our hybrid hosting approach allows you to use what you need, and pay only for what you use. It offers all of the advantages and freedoms of Moodle’s open source model and eliminates long-term contracts, vendor lock-in and setup fees. Plus, you will be able to leverage Moodle US’s twenty years of hosting experience and expertise.
Our hybrid hosting service is delivered through our unHosting platform which was designed to achieve two goals. Firstly, to offer a hosting service that allows organizations to take advantage of everything that is great about open source, and secondly, to create repeatable builds to automate routine processes. Today, unHosting gives organizations the option to install plugins, use their own customizations, and take ownership and control of their site including timing of upgrades. The unHosting platform also automates the process of creating Moodle sites by using Amazon APIs and scripted install processes. Each site is ready to go with load balancers, web and database servers, all tuned to meet your site requirements. unHosting also automates the installation of plugins, creation of development sites, and upgrade processes meaning all of these things are possible with a few clicks!

Self-hosting
For organizations hosting their own Moodle site, we can assist with infrastructure design, site configuration, tuning for performance and scaling, maintenance, backups and upgrades. From extended consulting engagements with ongoing support, to project based consulting with short term support, you decide on the level of services provided and the type of support required, from immediate response to 24-hour turnaround.
