Chief Executive Officer – Scott Anderberg
Scott Anderberg has dedicated his career to supporting organisations around the world to develop and deliver better educational experiences online.
Prior to joining Moodle as CEO in February 2024, Scott spent 15 years in roles spanning from market development across EMEA to establishing and launching Pearson’s Online Program Management business in Australia and leading Pearson’s Online Learning Services business in markets outside of North America.
Chief Product Officer – Marie Achour
Marie is a product strategy professional with more than 20 years of experience, the last three at Moodle.
As Chief Product Officer, Marie leads the 90 people at Moodle who design, build and maintain Moodle’s product portfolio, which includes Moodle LMS – the world’s most popular open-source learning platform used by over 400 million learners and educators globally to improve our world.
She is most passionate about shaping product teams that love what they do: creating products people love.
Marie is also a Non-Executive Director at a not-for-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness, family and domestic violence and mental health issues.
Executive Business Partner – Liz Carlin
With wide-ranging experience supporting senior leaders, including several years as a member of Moodle’s leadership team, Liz is instrumental in enabling our senior executives to achieve strategic goals and cultivate a cohesive, high-performing organisation.
Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, Liz is responsible for Moodle’s operational cadence and business planning cycles.
Chief Commercial Officer – Dan Lehner
Dan Lehner is the Chief Commercial Officer at Moodle. He has over 20 years of experience working in commercial roles in global education and technology companies.
Dan is responsible for the growth of Moodle’s direct business in the US and India and for the success of the Moodle Certified Partner programme globally. Dan’s great passion is to combine commercial growth with long-lasting social value creation.
Dan studied languages at Cambridge University, lives in London but loves nothing more than travelling the world with his wife and two sons.
Chief People & Culture Officer – Tamara Smith
Tamara is an HR professional with 20 years experience building and implementing innovative employee experience and talent management strategies.
At Moodle, she leads a team of trusted HR advisors to the broader organisation, in the areas of learning and development, organisational development and employee relations.
Over the past several years at Moodle, she has played an instrumental role in creating a people-centric culture that attracts, retains and develops top talent across a rich and diverse global employee population. Navigating an environment of continuous transformation, Tamara has remained committed to fostering an environment where teams feel empowered, valued and inspired to achieve their full potential.
Chief Financial Officer – Rohan Hardie
Rohan is a CPA and seasoned Chief Financial Officer with over 30 years experience driving financial strategy and operational excellence across diverse industries, including nearly a decade in EdTech.
With a strong foundation in accounting and a deep understanding of business dynamics, Rohan has led teams in both privately held and publicly traded companies, helping organisations scale, optimise performance and navigate complex financial landscapes.
Over the course of his career, Rohan has held multiple executive roles alongside his CFO responsibilities, including Managing Director, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer.
Rohan joined Moodle in 2016 and has been pivotal to Moodle’s growth and strategic direction. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is also the Company Secretary.
