Manage and enrol your learning from a single screen with Moodle 3.4

November 15, 2017

As mentioned, Moodle 3.4 has focused heavily on enhancing user experience to make sure our users are able to navigate and use all of Moodle’s tools easier and faster.

Fitting in with that focus, one of the improvements in Moodle 3.4 is the ability for to enrol and manage their learners from a single screen. This results in a smoother course management process, enhancing usability.

Let’s see what improvements have been made:

Searching and filtering course participants

By clicking the “participants” link in the navigation menu, an educator is now able to add new course participants easily by clicking on the “enrol users” button, as demonstrated in the image below.

In Moodle 3.4 educators are also able to search and select existing course participants through filtering options such as enrollment method, status, group, role (as shown below) and more.

A clearer view of a participant’s status

A new and clearer view of each participant is also available in Moodle 3.4. This makes it easier for educators to make changes and view their learners’ status.

Edit or delete selected users

An additional improvement in Moodle 3.4 which also improve course management is through enabling educators to edit or delete multiple users simultaneously using bulk select. This allows educators to save time and focus on educating.
