Over the next few weeks our Chief Moodler, Founder and CEO, Martin Dougiamas, will be traveling globally for Moots, education conferences and a #MoodleParty to talk all things Moodle and meet many of our community members.

If you are going to be around in or near his travel stops, this is your chance to discuss Moodle with the man who started it all!

You may have also heard about our recent European investment from Education For The Many. During his travels, Martin will be speaking to Moodlers more about how this partnership will fuel growth and innovation in Moodle so that we can continue to empower educators to improve our world.

MoodleMoot Brasil 2017 – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
18-19 October

Join Martin and our Brazilian Moodlers in Rio for the second chapter of MoodleMoot Brasil 2017, organised by one of our Moodle Partners in Brazil, ADAPTA.

Now on its 11th year MoodleMoot Brazil gives Moodlers with the opportunity to learn new skills, speak to edtech experts and meet their peers.

Educause Annual Conference – Philadelphia, United States
1-2 November

The Educause Annual Conference hosts professionals and technology providers from around the world to network, share ideas, and discover solutions to today’s challenges.
Martin will be joining our US Moodle Partner, eThink Education at booth #137 for a meet and greet on 1-2 November, 12:30 – 13:30 ET.

Moodle HQ & eThink Happy Hour – Philadelphia, United States 
1 November

Join our Moodle Partner eThink Education and Martin for an Educause after-hours happy hour (5-8pm), at an event just walking distance of the Pennsylvania Convention Centre where Educause is taking place.

There, Martin will be speaking about the latest developments at Moodle HQ and the roadmap for the future. It will also give Moodlers the opportunity to meet members of the edtech community, share ideas with Martin and learn more about our Moodle Partner, eThink Education.

This event is free to attend, but space is limited, RVSP to secure your seat.

MoodleMoot US Florida – Miami
6-8 November

At #MootUS17, Martin and other Moodle HQ staff members will present a new program, focussed on envisioning sessions with our US Moodlers to get ideas and collaborate on two of our main key projects – Learn Moodle and MoodleNet – our new community site for educators.

Calling all Spanish Moodlers!! Come and meet our Chief Moodler (and our Moodle Mobile team) in a fun and informal setting, at Moodle Party to listen about our future directions and key projects.

7th World Engineering Education Forum – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
13-16 November

Martin will be presenting a keynote at the World Engineering Education Forum (WEEF), hosted by the Society of Engineering Education Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and the International Federation on Engineering Education Societies.

WEEF is a platform for bringing engineering educators and leaders, industry, governmental organizations and NGOs together to form fruitful and long-term collaboration.
