Since 2019, the Moodle community has gathered at MoodleMoot Global to share ideas, build connections, and inspire lasting change. Now, we’re taking our annual event to the next level by transforming MoodleMoot Global into an experience that’s more impactful and innovative than ever: MIX (Moodle Ideas Exchange).
Why MIX is the future
MIX is a new place for our diverse, vibrant community to come together and make a tangible, positive impact on learning. It’s designed for communication — a space where learners, thinkers and leaders from education, business and the public sector can talk about big ideas and collaborative strategies to build a more open, inclusive and equitable world.
“We’re at a pivotal moment in history, where our future together depends on the very best ideas for how we’ll thrive,” says Moodle CEO Scott Anderberg. “Over twenty years of Moodle community engagement suggests the best ideas come from getting passionate people together and letting their creativity flourish. That’s what we want our global event to be — an opportunity for great ideas to have space, collaboration, and life inside a vibrant community — and we want the identity of our gathering to clearly invite that.”
MoodleMoot Global regulars will be pleased to know that we’re bringing the event’s lively, fun atmosphere with us to MIX in 2026. There’ll be visionary keynotes from speakers who challenge conventional methods and groundbreaking workshops to help you develop new skills or hone the ones you have. We’ll also host collaborative panels designed not just to share knowledge, but generate new ideas and partnerships.
