We’re excited to share that MoodleMoot Tanzania 2025 will be taking place on 7 May in Dar es Salaam, as part of the pre-conference programme for the eLearning Africa 2025 Conference. It will be hosted at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre and will bring together educators, decision-makers, technologists, and Moodle users from across Africa to explore the latest in digital learning, open-source education, and community collaboration.
The event will be led by Moodle’s global team who will be joined by a number of our Moodle Certified Partners and Certified Integrations. Together, they will deliver a full day of expert-led sessions focused on Moodle administration, instructional design, platform development, and accessible learning solutions. Attendees can also look forward to case studies and insightful discussions about how Moodle is being used across the continent to deliver scalable, locally supported education.
We are proud to be participating in eLearning Africa 2025 as a Platinum Sponsor alongside our Premium Moodle Partners Catalyst IT Europe and Edunao, as well as our Certified Integration Smowl. Their presence throughout the conference as well as at MoodleMoot Tanzania 2025 will highlight the strength of Moodle’s global ecosystem and the impact of our open-source model in driving educational innovation across Africa.
MoodleMoot Tanzania 2025 will also feature contributions from several other key members of the MoodlePartner community. This includes Moodle Partners Adapt IT and think modular, along with our Certified Integration ReadSpeaker, who will be sharing their regional expertise and tools that support accessible and inclusive learning. Their involvement reinforces the collaborative nature of MoodleMoots and the diverse range of solutions available through the Moodle ecosystem.
The final agenda is being shaped as we speak, and the day promises a rich mix of practical sessions, community insights, and opportunities to connect with Moodle experts and peers. MoodleMoots are designed for anyone passionate about using Moodle to make learning more accessible, effective, and impactful.
Registration is open now via the eLearning Africa 2025 platform. We invite all Moodle users and those curious about open-source education to join us in Dar es Salaam this May. We look forward to welcoming you and continuing the conversation about how we can empower learners and educators across Africa—together.
