Introducing Moodle’s Newest Premium Integration, Bongo

October 18, 2018

Perth, Australia – Today Moodle, the open source maker of the world’s most widely-used learning platform, announces a partnership with Bongo, adding its video assessment solution as a recommended Moodle Premium Integration.

Premium Integrations are products that are chosen based on their capabilities to integrate well with the Moodle platform and that complement Moodle’s native features.

Bongo, a soft skill development platform, uses a combination of asynchronous video assignments and synchronous virtual classroom technology to help learners become better communicators. By having them demonstrate their knowledge and skills through experiential exercises, Bongo gives instructors deeper insight into what learners understand.

Speaking of the partnership Moodle’s Founder and CEO, Martin Dougiamas, said: “I’m glad we have this new partnership with Bongo. Their video assessment solution is a strong product with a lot of potential that already integrates well with Moodle via the LTI standard. We’ve discussed an even better integration using Moodle plugins in future.”

Bongo’s CEO, Jay Dokter, also commented on the partnership.”We are extremely excited to partner with Moodle and have Bongo gain status as a Moodle Premium Integration,” Dokter said. “By integrating our proprietary video technology into a global platform like Moodle, we believe this partnership has the ability to positively impact millions of learners around the world.”
