Today, Moodle announces a partnership with Brickfield Education Labs to improve accessibility in Moodle and Moodle content in order to reduce barriers and maximise learning opportunities for all kinds of learners.
Brickfield Education Labs provides organisations and education institutions using Moodle with a toolkit to assess and improve their content by finding, fixing and future-proofing content accessibility within Moodle courses.
Moodle LMS, the open source platform at the heart of the Moodle ecosystem, has constantly evolved through a commitment to pedagogy and equality. As part of the partnership with Moodle, Brickfield Education Labs will host a free conference online for organisations using Moodle looking to improve their understanding of digital content accessibility and seeking help in addressing their existing challenges. The programme will consist of a mix of short practical workshops and presentations by accessibility specialists. The online conference will take place in late June and registrations will open in April.
