Today, Moodle – the world’s open source learning platform – welcomes PosBoss – a leading technology corporation and e-learning solutions provider in Taiwan – as a Certified Moodle Partner, to provide expert support services.

Founded in 2010, PosBoss Information Technology Corporation has been providing universities, government and non-government organisations and private companies in the region with e-learning solutions and tools to empower their customers.

The corporation has recognised the increasing demand for affordable and powerful learning technology in East Asia, subsequently turning to Moodle, to offer cost effective and flexible solutions to its clients.

PosBoss has worked as a e-learning technology provider for various giant multinational companies such as The Taiwan SemiConductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) – the world’s largest independent semiconductor foundry – and also small to medium enterprises in the education and public sectors.

Dr Alex Chiou, CEO of PosBoss commented that the corporation’s achievement in being a Certified Moodle Partner in Taiwan will further assist the delivery of best practice open source technology in Taiwan.

“PosBoss aims to become one of the most cost-effective, innovative and successful e-learning services provider after now being a Certified Moodle Services Provider in Taiwan,” said Dr Chiou.

“Using the most modern instructional technology and integrating all e-learning resources in Moodle services are the two key success factors for improving training efficiency and effectiveness for our customers.”

“We look forward to working more closely with Moodle HQ to further our involvement in the open source project while expanding our technology in Taiwan and globally.”

Gavin Henrick, Business Development Manager and Head of the Partners Team at Moodle HQ, welcomed Dr Chiou and his team at PosBoss to the Moodle Partner Network, saying: “Welcome Alex and his dedicated team as our new Certified Moodle Partner in Taiwan.”

“We are pleased to have PosBoss join us in expanding our open source project in the region and join us in our commitment to empowering educators to improve our world by facilitating the delivery of accessible and quality education,” said Gavin.
