The Moodle journey is about to get even better! We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming rebranding of Moodle Certifications to Moodle Qualifications. This fresh new approach, coming in December, not only gives a clearer, globally recognised title, but also opens the door to more opportunities for professionals using Moodle.
What’s changing?
As part of this transformation, the widely respected Moodle Educator Certification (MEC) will now be called the Moodle Educator Qualification (MEQ). And here’s the exciting part: from 2025, we’re launching the all-new Moodle Administrator Qualification (MAQ)! Whether you’re an educator or an administrator, these qualifications will be the essential mark of Moodle expertise that you’ll want to display.

Already an MEC holder?
Nothing to worry about. Your certificate is still valid; no action needed!
