On February 17-19, join the Japanese Moodle community online for MoodleMoot Japan 2022.
This online conference is organised by the Moodle Association of Japan (MAJ), whose members have been promoting research and development of Moodle, as well as fostering good educational practises using Moodle LMS, since 2010.
At #MootJP22 participants will have the opportunity to attend keynotes by education professionals, participate in hands-on workshops, and hear about strategies and findings from peer educators and researchers.
Improving education with learning analytics
How can learning analytics help educational institutions to support their learners better and provide engaging learning experiences? In one of the main keynotes at #MootJP22, Prof. Hiroaki Ogata (Kyoto University) will introduce the LEAF framework to help organisations leverage learning analytics to improve education and will share research and results from Primary, Secondary and Higher Education institutions already implementing LEAF.
How to create active learning experiences…online
While many educators are familiar with Moodle as a platform, creating active learning experiences in an online environment is not as straightforward as in the physical classroom. Dr. Jingjing Lin (Toyohashi University of Technology) will talk about Creation-based learning as an easy-to-follow approach for teachers to experiment with creating active learning experiences online with Moodle and Mahara.

Moodle is used in all kinds of settings, from Primary classrooms to Higher Education environments.
