We take a look at some Moodle presentations taking centre stage at #MootUS17

October 30, 2017

MoodleMoot US 2017-Florida is just around the corner!

From 6-8 November Moodlers from all over the US (and beyond) will be meeting in Miami to share their Moodle stories, collaborate, learn from each other, network and meet face to face.

In the lead up to our MoodleMoot US 2017 – Florida, some of our presenters have been sharing previews of what they will talk about on stage!

Let’s take a look at some of the presentations waiting for us in Miami next week:

Individualize! Adaptive learning scenarios with Moodle. Andreas Riepl, GTN Solutions.

Andreas Riepl, CEO of GTN Solutions (a global training network), is travelling all the way from Austria to present at MoodleMoot US 2017 – Florida.

In his presentation Andreas will share how eportfolio work and how competency based education can be used to enhance your Moodle sites.

Promoting Moodle with Massages: Running a Spa-Themed Faculty Training
Karla Fribley, Earlham College.

In her presentation Karla will share the unique way Earlham College use Moodle to create “refreshingly” popular faculty trainings with other campus.

Have a say in the future of Moodle’s key projects with Moodle HQ Team!

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in planning and envisioning sessions with Moodle HQ. Participating Moodlers will have the opportunity to learn about and collaborate on two of our main key projects – our new community site for educators: Moodle.net and a new look for Learn Moodle.

Tom Murdock, Moodle HQ’s Education Manager, tells us more in the below video.

More information about Moodle presentations for #MootUS17 can be found on the MoodleMoot website.

Remember Moodlers, if you want to see these presentations and be part of the envisioning sessions in person, there is still time to register your space at early bird prices via our website.
