With a successful track record in implementing Moodle-based e-learning platforms across education institutions and workplaces in Guatemala, Moodle is pleased to announce that Corporate Learning has joined the Moodle Certified Service Provider program.
A longstanding Moodle relationship

Corporate Learning has hosted MoodleMoot Guatemala for four years and is a well-respected advocate for Moodle in Central America. The company was previously a Moodle Reseller. Across the region, Corporate Learning has broken down paradigms regarding what can be achieved through e-learning.
Adoption of online learning
With the increased transition to remote or hybrid workplaces, the demand for implementing training through online learning platforms has increased versus face to face delivery. Corporate Learning has delivered solutions that have provided organisations with significant efficiencies and economies of scale and enabled training departments to focus on knowledge management and digital transformation rather than be consumed by administrative tasks.
Correspondingly, the pandemic has increased the adoption of online learning across education institutions across Guatemala, from kindergarten to university. Consequently, there is a demand for new digital skills throughout the educational community (teachers, students and families).

A track record of success
Corporate Learning’s multidisciplinary team of experts delivers custom development of Moodle, installation and configuration services on clients’ servers, Moodle cloud services and training programs.
They have recently completed a successful project for McDonalds Mesoamerica’s Hamburger University. Due to the growth of the university’s operations, Corporate Learning implemented a digital learning environment for Mesoamerica’s students. The platform provides indicators of completion in real-time and has allowed employees to complete the required training at their own time and pace.
Corporate Learning has also assisted Banco Industrial with implementing and improving its online learning platform. With an initial objective to centralise the training activities of administrative staff, the platform has expanded in line with the bank’s growth nationally and internationally. With the demand for more mandatory induction and soft skills courses, Corporate Learning developed customised plugins to expand the platform’s features, custom reports, and integrations to other administrative systems. Approximately 8,500 employees now use the system.
The Corporate Learning team has also actively participated in developing the learning platform for Corporación Multi Inversiones (UCMI), a multi-Latin corporation with operations in Guatemala, Central America and the Caribbean. The project included developing customised plugins to streamline management activities for the team managing UCMI. Corporate Learning focused on the user experience and designed a customised look and feel with automated processes for users, managers, and those responsible for the courses. UCMI’s Corporate University received an award in 2021 for its excellence and educational development. It was certified by the Learning & Performance Institute (LPI) in London, thus becoming the first Corporate University from a Latin American country to receive this certification.
