Earlier this month, we participated in Learning Technologies in London, the leading conference for organisational learning in Europe.
With our Moodle Partners Synergy Learning, Titus Learning and eThink Education, we presented our new product proposition for Moodle Workplace: our LMS designed for corporate and organisational learning, that combines the flexibility and functionality of the Moodle LMS with powerful features for corporate learning.
Many L&D professionals from all sectors came to talk to us about their learning, training and professional development needs. This proved, once again, that the LMS is a central element when it comes to building a learning culture within organisations.
Optimising the management of learning ecosystems
Many of our visitors at #LT20UK made it clear that when it comes to L&D, administrative tasks take a big chunk of their time, preventing them from focusing on designing and creating learning experiences – and that’s why they were happy to see new functionalities on Moodle Workplace that enabled automation and optimisation of LMS systems.
Visitors loved features like multi-tenancy, the ability to create user groups by role, department, position, location or any other attribute to mirror organisational structure, and the creation of dynamic rules for each of these user groups. Our powerful Report Builder tool that enables you to see the information you need in the way you want, was also very well received.
After the presentation by our Moodle Workplace Technical Architect Marina Glancy, lots of people visited our stand to see and try these features themselves.
All in all, Learning Technologies was a great opportunity for our Moodle Workplace team to show the tool to people, to have discussions about their needs and expectations when it comes to corporate learning and to get insights on the edtech and organisational landscapes.
