Peruvian digital agency teams up with the world’s open source learning platform to set the benchmark for Edtech in Peru

November 8, 2016

Moodle users in Peru are now able to get innovative tech and design support for their learning environments through Moodle’s new Certified Partner  – Atypax.

Today, Moodle – the world’s open source learning platform – welcomed Atypax Technology + Design (Atypax) as its latest Moodle Partner, making it the second certified Partner in Peru.

Atypax’s vision to set a high-level benchmark for edtech development in Peru makes them a right fit with Moodle’s mission of providing educators and learners with powerful and flexible learning tools.

Luis Felix Atuncar, CEO of Atypax, commented that being a Certified Moodle Partner provides the company with the accreditation to continue delivering Moodle services that are of the highest standard.

“Atypax has been providing Moodle services, such as custom theme design, plugins development and helpdesk support in Peru  since 2012,” said Luis.

“Although we are a young company, we work hard on our reputation to deliver innovative edtech tools that support an organisation and its people to grow.”

“Being a Certified Moodle Partner will continue to help us build on that reputation and provide our Moodle users with confidence in our services.”

To date, Atypax has worked on a number of Moodle-related projects for some of Peru’s government agencies, digital entrepreneurs and large companies, including Intercorp – leaders in banking, insurance, retail and education in the country. In that project, Atypax provided custom design, hosting, software implementation and training for Intercorp’s 27,000 employees.

“We are proud of our achievements so far and now as a Moodle Partner we look forward to continuing our work in providing first-class technology solutions for Moodle users,”  commented Luis.

Dr Martin Dougiamas, Founder and CEO of Moodle, said: “It’s with real pleasure that I welcome Atypax to the group as a new Moodle Partner Certified Services Provider, one that provides a wide range of Moodle services” said Dr Dougiamas.

“I look forward to strengthening the partnership between Moodle and Atypax and working together to create quality edtech experiences for Moodle users in Peru.”

The Moodle Partner network continues to grow, with the addition of Atypax totalling 83 certified Moodle partnerships based in 43 countries.
