That question opened the most talked-about panel at Spain’s Corporate Learning Day—and it sums up the bold, playful, and deeply serious spirit behind Game of Diversity.
Developed by Inserver, a Moodle Premium Certified Partner based in Spain, Game of Diversity is a fully gamified workplace diversity training programme. It’s designed for real change—not just compliance—with a focus on surfacing unconscious bias, improving internal processes, and building truly inclusive work environments.
“As a company in the e-learning sector, our responsibility is to create robust and transformative training solutions,” says Dani Casajús Ibáñez, Inserver’s CEO. “Game of Diversity is the only 100% gamified course in Spain that focuses on business and process improvement.”
Using Moodle LMS as its foundation, the course transforms the learning experience into a game—complete with real-world scenarios, interactive storytelling, and what they call a “diversity thermometer,” which helps organisations assess their internal blind spots across the employee journey.
“Navigation is simple, highly visual, and intuitive,” Dani explains. “Usability focuses on raising awareness about diversity and identifying discriminatory workplace practices.”
The learners? Employees at companies with Equality Plans—an increasingly common requirement in Spain—and those tasked with analysing or shaping inclusive policies. With Game of Diversity, learners move through a vivid, gamified environment that not only teaches, but also challenges them to rethink how their company operates.
The course is already making an impact. It recently won an Open Awards prize for Digital Transformation, and continues to spark conversation and action at major events, including Corporate Learning Day 2024, where Inserver’s panel urged HR leaders to go beyond checkbox diversity.
“Training in diversity and creating structural changes through knowledge is a complicated challenge,” Dani says. “But Moodle helps us meet that challenge—by letting us design experiences that people actually want to complete and apply in real life.”
This Pride Month, Game of Diversity is a powerful reminder that inclusion isn’t just a value—it’s a practice. With imagination, evidence, and the right tools, we can challenge bias, dismantle inequities, and build fairer, more accountable workplaces for everyone.
